do not open iPhoto or Photos files to search duplicates

Not opening iPhoto or Photos files to search duplicates is a problem for me, most of the waste is there in my mac.
Than make some MBs free, mostly .pdf or other .doc isn’t such a terrific things for me.
I guess for those more into “files" than pics can have more advantage in using this App.
